This year, at the facilities of Balakovo JSC Rezinotekhnika, which produces rubber products and components for the automotive industry, they began producing parts for cars of Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi that left Russia. The Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Saratov Region reported this on its page on the VKontakte social network.

After the introduction of sanctions, the plant established pilot production of 15 products for conveyor enterprises in the automotive industry – KamAZ, Ural, Yaroslavl Diesel Equipment Plant (YAZDA), Yaroslavl Motor Plant (YaMZ) Avtodiesel and others. For them, Rezinotekhnika makes oil seals for internal combustion engines and transmission units – gearboxes, transfer cases, hub units and fuel equipment.

And this year the company also began producing auto parts for foreign cars. In particular, near Saratov they began producing oil seals for engines, transfer cases and drives for Renault, Nissan, and Mitsubishi.

The sanctions resulted in a shortage of spare parts, which led to an almost continuous increase in prices. In August it was reported that the crisis with the availability of parts for mass-produced cars had been overcome, but experts predicted their further rise in price.

Problems are observed with spare parts for Chinese cars as well. In the event of an accident, car repair shops may not have the necessary parts for restoration, so some owners have to wait from 30 to 40 days, said the head of the Russian Union of Auto Insurers (RUA) Evgeny Ufimtsev.
