Observer of the Club Service YouTube channel Ilya Sviridov demonstrated how a crossover was made for the Chinese market. The hero of the video is the Changan Uni-K with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with a BorgWarner clutch at the rear. Dealers’ recommended prices for such cars range from 4.07 to 4.24 million rubles.

The Club Service reviewer did not like the sound insulation of the Changan Uni-K: it is made of glass wool and felt, the quality leaves much to be desired, and the crossover is not at all quiet on the move. Another negative point concerns the wiring: the harnesses are thin, although the braids are wound and insulated well. The fastening of the tubes under the bottom was also not impressive: the batteries are suspended on flimsy connections, although they are covered with plastic screens.

The coating of the bottom with sealant received criticism: in some important areas of the composition they regretted it. There is no anticorrosive in the cavities at all. Another point is the thin drive shafts on the rear axle and the alloy lower arms of the rear suspension. The Changan Uni-K has nothing to do off-road.

Among the positive aspects are powerful sills, side members and body reinforcements. There are three amplifiers in the rear doors, two in the front doors. The body is welded neatly. The Uni-K also has an impressive front subframe, a classic Japanese Aisin automatic transmission and a chain turbo engine with direct injection.

According to the Club Service observer, the Changan Uni-K design has a lot of controversial solutions, but for its price it is an interesting offer, because there are officially no more Japanese, Korean or European models in Russia. Previously, the channel dismantled the Tank 300 frame SUV and compared it with the previous Land Cruiser Prado 150,
