Avito experts studied the number and cost of used cars sold through the Auction service and compiled a list of the most popular ones in different price categories. Thus, among cars costing from 700 thousand to 1.3 million rubles, which can be sold the fastest, Lada takes first place, with Kia and Hyundai in second and third place.
The top 5 brands in the segment up to 300 thousand rubles are as follows: Lada, Daewoo, Chevrolet, Chery and Renault. This category mainly presents cars between 13 and 16 years old. Among the top five cars that cost from 300 to 700 thousand rubles, Lada is still in the lead. Next come Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai and Renault. In the segment from 700 thousand to 1.5 million rubles, in addition to Lada and two Korean brands, there are European Volkswagen and Renault.
In the two more expensive segments the situation is somewhat different. So, in the category with a price of 1.5-3 million rubles, Kia is in first place, Hyundai is in second, and Volkswagen is in third. The top five also includes Toyota and Nissan. Among used cars that cost more than three million rubles, the fastest selling cars are BMW, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Kia.
“In the presented rating, we see both domestic and foreign cars – Chinese, Korean, Japanese and European, and the average age range varies from 3 to 10+ years, and for each of the listed brands there is a corresponding demand for quick transactions,” noted in Avito.
