According to the ad cited by Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the seller is asking 2.8 million rubles for a pickup truck built on the Geely Atlas Pro base. For the same amount in Russia you can buy a new Atlas Pro. However, there is a nuance: the pickup is not entirely new, although it was released in 2023 – it has a short mileage of 2.3 thousand kilometers. And this model is not officially presented on the Russian market, so the automaker’s warranty does not apply to it.

The Farizon FX pickup truck went on sale in China at the end of 2020. It was based on the Boyue Pro (aka Atlas Pro in Russia), and instead of a neat fifth door, the designers installed a cargo platform covered with a curtain. As a result, the design of the model turned out to be controversial.

But under the hood everything is the same as in the Atlas: a 184-horsepower 1.8-liter gasoline turbo engine, which is combined with a seven-speed “robot.” In Russia they sell a modification with front-wheel drive.

The pickup’s load capacity is modest – only 540 kilograms. The body capacity is also small: depth of the cargo compartment – 1125 mm, width – 1230 mm, height – 460 mm. The equipment list of the Farizon FX for sale includes climate control, cruise control, rear view camera and parking sensors.

Since October 1, parallel imports have been limited in Russia – under a simplified scheme, it is no longer possible to import into the country cars of brands that are officially represented on our market. In other words, the restrictions primarily protect the interests of Chinese brands, so “gray” cars from China may soon disappear from sale.
