In November, the Chery group set a record by selling more than 212 thousand new cars around the world, including in Russia. This is the best result in the entire history of the automaker and the second time in 2023 when it managed to overcome the mark of 200 thousand cars sold. If we compare the indicator of November of this year with the same month of 2022, the sales volume increased by 111 percent.

The Chery group, in addition to the brand of the same name, also includes sub-brands – among those represented in Russia are Exeed, Omoda and Jaecoo. Chery’s sales drivers today are crossovers of the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 families, as well as the Arrizo 8 sedan. Tiggo 7 sold 25.9 thousand units last month, Tiggo 8 ended the month with 24.9 units sold, and Arrizo 8 Almost 17.2 thousand people chose.

Chery Group’s sales grew for 11 consecutive months in 2023, with cumulative volume exceeding 1.66 million vehicles from January to November, up 47.8 percent year-on-year.

The company itself says that record sales were achieved thanks to “continuous product improvement processes” and Chery’s “focus on technology and innovation.” The automaker intends to continue on this path and will invest 100 billion yuan in the research and development of new alternative energy vehicles over the next five years.

According to the Autostat report, Chery sold 11.3 thousand new cars in Russia in November, which is 109.9 percent more than in the same month last year. Over 11 months, 105.6 thousand cars of this brand were sold, which corresponds to an increase of 235.9 percent.
