It will be offered for American cars with a base “four” 2.5, while this type of transmission is not allowed for hybrids and sports Sonata N Line – at least not yet. Sales of restyled four-doors in the US will begin this fall. Prices are not yet known.

The updated Hyundai Sonata has reached the North American continent. The sedan, introduced in the spring in South Korea, will go on sale in the autumn, and its main difference from cars for other markets will be the optional all-wheel drive. The HTRAC transmission with dedicated snow mode will only be available on naturally aspirated 2.5 cars, so buyers of hybrids and turbocharged Sonata N Lines are in for some disappointment.

Otherwise, we have the usual Sonata. The sedan features 2nd generation digital key technology, a 12.3-inch dual-display cockpit with a projection screen and a 12-speaker Bose audio system with CenterPoint 360 digital signal processing. All cars come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto by default, and updates media are downloaded “over the air”.

There are at least a dozen security systems here. For example, Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Highway Assist, Lane Keeping, Rear Cross Traffic Control and Exit Assist. There are no prices yet. The pre-styling Sonata costs from $25,450 (2.5 million rubles), the hybrid will cost 3,000 more. Sonata N Line is the most expensive on this list – from 35 thousand dollars, or 3.4 million rubles.
